Since May the 1st 2005 I'm Associate Professor at the University of Padua where I work at the Department of Information Engineering (office in room 411 of DEI/G) and I teach in the curricula of Statistical Sciences, Computer Engineering, and Applied Cognitive Psychology

I'm in the directive committee of the Computer Platform Research Center and a member of the Scientific Board of Circle Garage s.r.l..

I still have many activities at the Deprtment of Computer Science, Bioengineering, Robotics ans System Engineering of the University of Genoa where I cooperate with my colleagues in the IPILAB laboratory and I teach in the Computer Engineering curriculum.

My main research interest is the Design and Implementation of complex Distributed Computing Systems in general, from architectural aspects to applications. Recently I have focused on Applications of Pervasive and Cloud Computing in support to Human Memory and on the problem of Green, Energy-Aware Security (to some extent, to security at large).

For enquires about the latest developments of the Harness project, you should contact Professor Vaidy Sunderam from the Dept. of Math and Computer Science of Emory University.

You can find how to contact me here, or you can see where is my (old) office or the IPILAB laboratory here.
